Freelancers asked for opinions on self-employment

The European Freelancer’s Movement has this week called for freelancers across the UK and Europe to identify the key issues affecting their lives as self-employed professionals.

The group, set up by freelancers, aims to make the key problems that freelancers encounter known to the European Parliament, and is requesting that the self-employed submit their ideas as to which issues the group should campaign on.

Commenting on their campaign, the EFM said that their aim was to “get freelancers recognised as a legitimate employment and business category…and improve conditions for all European freelancers.”

Freelancers can get in touch with the EFM through Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/freelancersmovement), Twitter (https://twitter.com/FreelancersEU), or by signing up as an ambassador (http://freelancers-europe.org/ambassador/).
